What Will Patriots Will Do With Matt Cassel Next Season When Tom Brady Comes Back Healthy From Injury?

Cassel and the Pats have 13 more games to go.
He has every opportunity to win most of them.
I think they should worry more about their defense right now, seeing how the Dolphins just smeared them.
Cassel doesn’t play defense, so he isn’t the one that couldn’t stop Ronnie Brown.
And maybe the offensive line should try a little harder to give Cassel more time.
There are a lot more problems with the Pats than just their QB.
As for next year, he will sit on the bench, just like he was going to this season.

  1. Mr R says:

He will assume his role as the backup although this time, when the Patriots get up by 30 or 40 points I am sure Belicheck will play him rather than try and run up the score.

  2. satcomgr says:

Patriots Won’t Re-Sign Him For Next Season When He Becomes a Free Agent.
He Will Probably Back-Up Somebody Else.

  3. ?????? ƒ?? (????) says:

Well, unless Cassel wins the Super Bowl somehow, I see a seat on their sidelines with his name all over it.

  4. Norry (War Eagle!) says:

I think his contract is up, so they’ll probably let him go and make Kevin O’Connell the backup to Brady.

  5. why so serious? says:

Hopefully trade his ***. I would rather have veterans like Garcia or someone else to be Brady’s backup.

back to the sidelines i guess…

well he will be a free agent so i guess depending on how he does he may go somewhere else….or go back to being back up
