See your doctor, sounds like muscle strain, but no one on here is qualified to give medical advice and it is always best not to leave it to someone who has not seen you. I could say muscle strain when in fact it is something worse, so see your doctor they can decide what course of action to take to help you

Go to the doctor! You could have done something as simple as pulled a muscle anywhere to something more serious, like blown out a disc -treatment could be anything from a few days of rest to spinal injections and physical therapy.
In the mean time, try an over the counter analgesic such as Aleve, and ice your back in 20 minute intervals. Many people will tell you to use heat, but that will increase blood flow to the area, so if you do use heat, follow up with ice to help decrease swelling.
If you’re having numbness or tingling, it is indicitave of nerve damage. you’ll really benefit most from proper medical care. Check out http://www.steadmanhawkins.com – they offer great advice, and can help you find a reputable doctor in your local area. I strongly recommend them, they have literally changed my life. Dont ignore your back pain, it will only get worse, and will affect EVERY area of your life.
Refrain from any strenuous activity for a few days, including bending, lifting, and twisting as well.
