Well I might be finally pregnant. Missed my period by 2 days and had a very faint postive pregnancy test. But now I am eperiencing very severe sciatica. I would only be 4 weeks along now if I am. I have had 3 pregnancies before where I experienced it also but not this early. It was around a few months in the third. Is it possible to get it at 4 weeks or is it all me.

Monday, December 14th, 2009I was playing tackle football with my cousins the day before. I didn’t hurt myself while playing but woke up the next day with pain in the position described. Later that night I was sprinting to the train. When I finished the pain was unbearable. I can barely turn to the side in either direction, the left is worse. It hurts when I breathe and when I walk I get a shooting pain in the place where it hurts when I step with the left foot. When I lay on my stomach it hurts but it’s better when I’m laying on my back. In order to get a better idea where it hurts touch your ribs right under the left breast, then stick an imaginary rob through your torso at that spot, and where it comes out the back is where is hurts. It doesn’t hurt when I touch it. Could this be a bruised or cracked rib? Or some sort of back injury? What can I do to fix it? I just graduated from college and I don’t have a job with health insurance so I can’t go to the hospital…

I still have a lot of pain and some mobility problems, which makes it hard to be as active as I used to be. I don’t eat crazy amounts of food or anything, in fact–we eat pretty healthy.
