Can I Suffer Spinal Injury From Doing Too Much Dolphin Kick?

So recent few weeks, I’ve been practising butterfly, especially dolphin kick, bout 3 hours a day. My back and abs often feel ache, and I’ve grown taller, but I was wondering whether it is possible to get spinal injury from doing too much butterfly?
I’m not afraid of the pain, coz I want to improve the most, but I don’t wanna have a spinal injury and not be able to walk bcoz of it.

Is This A Sign That I Could Be Healing From My Spinal Cord Injury?

I have a C-5 spinal cord injury, it has been almost 11 months since it happened and over that period of time. I have gained some muscles back that are below my level of injury, such as some abdominal strength, and some muscles in the middle of my back. My fingers have not begun to work just yet. And I still do not have any triceps, but my abdominal muscles have increased quite a bit. Could this be a sign that my spinal cord is starting to heal? I was in a car wreck in November of 2006 and my spinal cord is bruised.

Can A Spinal Tap Cause/aggravate Sciatica If One Has It?

I was just wondering if anyone knew whether sciatica could be caused by a poorly-done spinal tap, as the needle goes right through the area of the sciatic nerve. I’ve had trouble with my back off and on since I had the proceedure in August. Every time I do heavy activity, it flares up.

Has Anyone Had An Epidural And Other Spinal Injection For Sciatica, and Do They Work.and How Long Did It Last?

before the injections wore off.I know alot of you ladies have had them for childbirth but the epidural in my case would only be to numb the area before they put other injections into my spine.

Can A Person With A Lower Back Injury (two Spinal Fusions) Still Sea Kayak?

My husband has had 2 lower spinal fusions as a result of car accident. He is now 55 and wants to sea kayak. He is reasonably fit. My question is – is moderate sea kayaking and the spinal rotation required bad for his back? Or should be just LEARN how to kayak responsibly? In other words, is this even a sport he can contemplate. Any experience out there?
