i had sciatica when i was pregnant. what i found that helped were exercises from the “what to expect when you’re expecting” book. you get down on all fours and alternate from “cat back” and “cow back” positions, holding each position for about a minute. cat back: you arch your back like that infamous halloween cat. cow back: arched in the opposite direction of the cat back. i would do the exercises when i woke up in the morning (and from my nap). and in the evening before i went to bed.
