I Would Really Like Some Advice From Anyone Who Recieved A Back Injury At Work. How Do I Max My Compensation?
Monday, December 28th, 2009I hurt my back in work in 2000 and since then I have been unable to work full time. I have suffered dreadful pain over this period and am now at a point where I dont know where to turn. I am on welfare since the accident. I seeked legal advice back then and things were ok until I went to see a back specilist. First time I went to see him he sent a report saying that my injury wasn’t work related. However I pushed it a little and asked him to send me for a CT scan. He did and it showed that I indeed had an injury to my spine. In his report he said that my injury was due to my accident, but was also due to weight gain and sediment lifestyle. But my weight gain and my sediment lifestyle is due to the fact that I find it difficult to exercise as much as I used to. My legal advise is that if this report was taken to court it would not be enough to make a good case. Is there anyone out there that could give me some advise what I should do. My life seems to have ended in 2000. Thanks Tom
What Does Kidney Stone Pain Feel Like? Is It Similar To Sciatica?
Thursday, December 17th, 2009Kidney stones are painful. I grew up watching my father suffer with them and I am currently sitting here with stones in both kidneys as well as a large one out of my right kidney. The pains have started mildly last Tuesday and I ended up at the hospital that day. The pains haven’t hit full force YET because the stone is being stubborn.
Be sure to drink lots of water to help the stone through to your bladder. I always find that once the stone gets to the bladder it is free going from there just a burning sensation as it finally passes. As far as foods to avoid…it all depends on what type of stone you have…be sure to save it to have it analized. Another thing to keep in mind about kidney stones…family!

Friday, December 4th, 2009I’m 28 weeks prego, have had braxton hicks since 17 weeks. Strained my back yesterday at work. Since then chronic back pain and cramping…like diarrhea or menstrual. And still having my regular braxton hicks so I don’t think that’s what the cramps are…I have an appt tomorrow but I would like to know now if I could have hurt the baby just by hurting my lower back or could the back pain also be causing my abdominal cramps?
