Can You Get Sciatica From Whiplash?
It doesn’t sound likely, but it is possible if the whiplash were bad enough.

Yes… and no, you can get sciatica from any trauma to or pressure on the lower spine from accidental injuries to pregnancy. Although technically whiplash involves the vertebrae in the neck, if you have whiplash then you most likely have been in some kind of accident. The sciatic nerve goes from the lower spine to the legs. Sciatica and whiplash are two different things but many times occur at the same time due to trauma to the spine caused by car accidents, falls etc..
It seems unlikely to me. Sciatica is a problem in the hip area; often it’s a long term thing. Whiplash is from your head/neck snapping back and forth in a collision.
