You may be able to recover from a back injury. it matters on how bad the injury is. if it was a car accedent you wont be able to recover fully, you may be able to recover, but not fully. like your favorite wooden chair might hurt your back because of the accedent, when it didn’t hurt your back before the accedent

Not really. I mean, I guess you can depending on how bad the back injury was.
My mom got in a 4-wheeler accident on Good Friday in 1999 (my aunt was driving and they hit a tree) and my mom had 6 fractured vertebras and 3 fracture ribs and also got a concussion. My aunt was okay.. she just has a metal bar holding her pelvic and metal all through her left arm and a scar above her eye from where her face hit the tree… but anyways (I decided to tell y’all about my aunt so you know she’s okay if you were wondering). My mom’s back was pretty bad and they thought she was paralyzed. She ended up being okay, but had to be in a back brace for SEVERAL months. Then, in 2000, my mom was riding one of our horses and she fell off because she got really dizzy (she was dizzy every now and then because of her concussion) and hit her head and had another concussion and more fractured vertebras.
My mom still has a lot of pain from the accidents (mainly from the 4-wheeler accident) and has to get acupuncture to help her. It’s REALLY bad… her sciatic nerve is messed up because of her vertebras being crushed. I feel bad for her a lot, because her back is so bad and she has to just lay down on the floor and rest her back. She cries a lot too because it hurts. =( She’s a tough woman though and doesn’t let it get to her too much.. she still does everything she used to do (other than riding horses and bowling). They said she could never bowl again so now we play Wii Bowling. haha
I also had a friend that got paralyzed and then she ended up walking and now she’s fine.
Anyways… like I said, it just depends on the back injury.

Yes I have but it probably depends upon the cause. I hurt my back from sport & my physio gave me some stretching exercises & told me to wear a compressive thermal back support to improve posture & relieve pain & stiffness. That was years ago & I’m fine now.

  4. Jamie says:

That definitely depends on the kind of the injury.
Muscular problems you can often fully recover from.

Well honestly, i had a back pain WAY back in the day and well… it was all better. but the doctors always see the same injury in my upper back for its still there i guess

  6. mustangs says:

It depends on the injury. Usually, you have to be careful not to re-injure it after it heals.
